May, it was a hectic month for all of us here. After nearly two months in Hiroshima, we have been able to familiarize ourselves with the environment here. On a daily routine, other than attending the classes in JCGA, we spend more time in our dormitories and focusing on homework and especially on our ' Mission,' preparing the Policy Paper.

However, in this busy time, we still have a chance of visiting the Yamato Museum in Kure Town. Particularly for us international students, that was the first time and experience. Much interesting information and the essence of history can be taken where Kure once was a very famous maritime city. It has contributed significantly to the Japanese maritime and naval culture and also for modern warships such as Yamato.

Other than a short visit to the Yamato Museum, another valuable experience we find here is that one of our Professors at the JCGA has allowed us to try the traditional Japanese warrior clothes, ‘Yoroi.’ It was a valuable experience for those who try it as for me before; it can only be seen in the magazines or mass media.

In early May too, two Muslim students started their fasting month, which will be performed every year in Ramadan month. It was the first experience for them fasting in Japan. Also, the month of Ramadan gives new knowledge to other non-Muslim students. With a more extended daytime than before, it is so challenging, but both of them managed to complete their fast. Of course, they missed the local food in their country, especially during Ramadan.

Lastly, it is too much to tell here because every second and moment of our time in Japan are full of bitter and sweet memories that hard to forget. With the time approaching the end, I hope that all of my friends will succeed in this journey and graduate with flying colors. Thank you everyone for this valuable and priceless experience.
