Our new life

18 October, 2019

Thanks to everyone supporting us, the Maritime Safety and Security Policy Program (MSP) was started at the beginning of October. We are the 5th batch of the MSP. The 5th batch consists of students from India, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. This is the first time for Thailand to attend the MSP. Since all of us have various kinds of career, we can talk about a lot of things related to maritime issues and discuss from many aspects.  Amidst these puzzles feeling of missing the joyful life

Our curriculum in the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) started at October 3rd. Although we were nervous at that time, we relieved our tension through chatting and dancing with other students of the GRIPS at the welcome party held in the GRIPS at October 4th.

The classes in the GRIPS have begun since October 7th. We take both required courses and recommended courses. In terms of the recommended courses, we can choice some classes related to our own interest in order to deepen knowledge.

As the term of the MSP is only one year, it is short. Thus, we will appreciate this environment focusing on study and foster our relationships between members of the 5th batch in order to contribute Coast Guard’s developments in the future.
